1962 Factory Tour


These photos were taken at the Hannover factory in 1962. They were published in the VW Information magazine, an internal VW dealer magazine. The last picture in this series shows a Notchback going through the water leak test area.


And here's a few pics of the T3's exiting the factory, then being offloaded a cargo ship in Sweden, and finally being delivered to the VW dealership via transport truck.
